Whether you sailed before or not, this course is for you! You will learn the basics of sailing while gaining confidence in order to become a knowledgeable and helpful crew member

Learning how to sail will open up a new world of excitement and relaxation for you! With just a few short online courses and some on-the-water training, you'll gain the skills necessary to confidently assist in sailing a sailboat in the New York Harbor.

Sign up for the online course today - and start at your own pace. Once you complete the theoretical portion of this course - you will be able to attend the practical lessons, either one at a time or over one weekend. Click here for schedule options.

Practical Course Schedule:
Option 1 - Take it easy
Individual Classes
3-hour lessons. Need to take a total of 7 different competency-building lessons to complete this course. These lessons are offered over the first two weekends of the month May - August.  
Option 2 - Get it done in one weekend
Weekend Course
Take all competency-building lessons on both Saturday and Sunday from 9am-5pm.

Once you are done with your theory studies - it is time for you to get some on-water practice to build your confidence as a qualified crew.
